The short version
I’m Emma, full time mum and writer who drinks too much coffee.
The long version
I’m Emma. Full-time mum to the cutest (and naughtiest?) four year-old boy in the world, aspiring writer and coffee addict. I have written many short stories, some of which have been published. More of my writing can be found using the #fridayflash hash tag on Twitter. In 2010, I attempted NaNoWriMo and succeeded and I am currently approaching the end of the first draft of my first novel.
My Writing
I could throw around cliches all day, but I genuinely do love to write. From Primary School where I spent Monday morning’s crafting interesting and only slightly made-up diaries through to Secondary School where I rewrote ‘A Midsomer Night’s Dream’ for the 20th Century (Yeah, I’m older than I look) in my spare time.
I’ve toyed with the idea of writing seriously for the past decade, but never really got around to doing much about it. This time is different. The last couple of years were a tough for me personally and have shown me that even the seemingly impossible can be possible, so here I am, giving writing my best shot!

I love to see hoe writing effects other people in a positive manner…even if its just for themselves! I wish you the best with your writing!
